For personalized items, the processing time is 2-4 weeks. For other items it’s 5-10 business days. If your order includes multiple items, the entire order ships based on the item with the longest processing time.

What are the sizing details of the name signs?

For name-script signs, the approximate widths based on the number of letters are:

  • 2-3 letters: 9–12″
  • 4 letters: 13–15″
  • 5 letters: 16–18″
  • 6 letters: 19–22″
  • 7 letters: 23–25″
  • 8 letters: 26–28″
  • 9-10 letters: 29–31″

Each is crafted from ¾ inch thick solid hardwood; the maximum height of the letters (for tall letters like “l” to “y”) is 9″.

Timberwood Designs is based in Ontario, Canada. Local pick-up is available at 265 Barton St, Stoney Creek. If you select local pick-up, you’ll be contacted when your order is complete to schedule a date/time.
How do I hang the wooden name sign?

Hanging your personalized nursery name sign is easy and will add a beautiful, personal touch to your baby’s room. For a step-by-step guide, be sure to check out our informative blog or Instagram reels with videos, where we provide clear instructions on how to hang your name script effortlessly.

To hang your custom name sign, we recommend using small nails to secure the sign by placing them where the loops and corners of the letters are. Simply hang the sign on the nails to ensure it stays in place. For capital letters or areas that can’t accommodate a nail, we suggest using 30lb strong mounting tape for secure, no-drill installation.

Please note: No mounting hardware is included with your sign. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions when using mounting hardware or tape, as proper installation is key to keeping your sign safe and secure. Timberwood Designs is not responsible for how these products are used or handled, so please ensure proper installation for your safety and the longevity of your custom wooden name sign.
Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! Free shipping is available when you meet the threshold: orders over CAD $240 (or USD equivalent for U.S.) shipped to a single address (after promotions/discounts, before shipping/taxes) qualify.
Are the name signs final sale? Can I get a return or exchange?

Since each sign is personalized and custom-made, all sales are final. Returns and exchanges are not accepted for custom name signs. Modification requests may be possible via email (hello@timberwooddesigns.ca), but are not guaranteed due to the turnaround process.
